Every year, House of Mercy hosts a heartwarming Back to School Event that empowers local children by setting them up for academic success. Through this initiative, children from low-income families are invited to choose a brand-new backpack and fill it with essential school supplies—completely free of charge.
This isn’t just about paper and pencils—it’s about dignity, confidence, and giving every student a fair chance to thrive in the classroom. Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we distributed over 500 fully stocked backpacks to students in need.
This year, our goal is even greater: help us serve 600 children as they return to school with hope and excitement.

Fuel This Mission
Back to school drives are more than a seasonal campaign—they are an investment in a child’s future. For many families we serve, the cost of school supplies can be overwhelming. Without access to basic materials, students often fall behind before the school year even begins.
By supporting our Back to School Drive, you’re helping ensure equal access to education, promoting self-esteem, and removing barriers to success for hundreds of children in our community.

Host a Supply Drive
