Client Services Coordinator

Work Hours: Part-time, 24 hours/week or seasonal

The Client Services Coordinator will play an important role in contributing to the total effectiveness of the Mission, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas, and working as a positive, engaged team member. Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are crucial characteristics of the individual who holds this position.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist clients with the check-in process
• Supervise clients while waiting
• Distribute client assistance properly
• Manage and oversee potential choice pantry
• Record all assistance and manage database
• Keep client files, accounts, and program flyers up to date
• Oversee and grow Mobile Pantry and its volunteers
• Make Carts
• Help renew/re-enroll old clients
• register new clients
• Help run additional client programming throughout the year and assist in other House of Mercy events
• Maintain regular communication with the Program Manager and fellow coordinators
• Cover for other coordinators when necessary
• Participate in staff meetings as required
• Comply with the HOM established standards, policies, and rules of conduct for all employees and volunteers
• Other duties as assigned

Client Services Coordinator Part Time New Position 2022

Online Sales Coordinator

Work Hours: Part time, 24 hours/week, must be able to work special events (nights/weekends) as needed

The Online Store Coordinator will play a vital role in contributing to the total effectiveness of the Mission, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas, and working as a positive, engaged team member. Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are crucial characteristics of the individual who holds this position.

Responsibilities include:

• Identify items and work with donation center staff and marketing coordinator to select items for online sales
• Research and photograph items selected for online sale
• Manage online retail platforms such as eBay, Poshmark, House of Mercy website, and other potential platforms, posting items, communicating with customers, and managing the site, maintain high customer service ratings on all platforms, increase online visibility and meet sales goals
• Mail purchased items to customer
• Keep items organized for online sales
• Complete reports as necessary
• Other duties as needed

Thrift Store Associate

Work Hours: Part-time, 24 hours/week or seasonal | Monday-Saturday, 3PM-9PM

The Thrift Store Associate will play a vital role in contributing to the total effectiveness of the Mission, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas, and working as a positive, engaged team member. Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are crucial characteristics of the individual who holds this position.

Responsibilities include:

    • Oversee customer service and sales, creating and maintaining a customer-friendly atmosphere
    • Responsible for bringing in new sales, helping with pricing strategies, and gaining customer feedback
    • Cleanliness and organization for Thrift store including maintaining clean working and shopping areas and organized merchandise for customers
    • Merchandising the thrift store in customer-oriented ways, maintaining a boutique atmosphere
    • Opening, closing, and cashing out the registers as needed
    • Training and working with volunteers
    • Other duties as assigned.
