Client Services Coordinator

Work Hours: Full-time

The Client Services Coordinator will play an important role in contributing to the total effectiveness of the Mission, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas, and working as a positive, engaged team member. Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are crucial characteristics of the individual who holds this position.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist clients with the check-in process
• Supervise clients while waiting
• Distribute client assistance properly
• Manage and oversee potential choice pantry
• Record all assistance and manage database
• Keep client files, accounts, and program flyers up to date
• Make Carts
• Help renew/re-enroll old clients
• register new clients
• Help run additional client programming throughout the year and assist in other House of Mercy events
• Maintain regular communication with the Program Manager and fellow coordinators
• Cover for other coordinators when necessary
• Participate in staff meetings as required
• Comply with the HOM established standards, policies, and rules of conduct for all employees and volunteers
• Other duties as assigned

2 Client Services Coordinator Full Time 2023

DONATION CENTER COORDINATOR

Work Hours: Full-time, Seasonal | MONDAY-SATURDAY 9AM-9PM

The Donation Center Coordinator will play a vital role in contributing to the total effectiveness of the Mission, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member. Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are crucial characteristics of the individual who holds this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage warehouse operations and volunteer staff to ensure effective receipt, documentation and routing of donations
  • Price items, manage inventory, quality control and storage
  • Safeguard operations with appropriate safety & security protocols, keeping the warehouse clean and organized
  • Work with Thrift Store Manager to develop long-term operational goals and direction for warehouse operations.
  • Manage, train and oversee donation center volunteers.
  • Oversee EBay operation: proper handling of sales, training and oversight of EBay volunteers.
  • Ensure that the donation center is opened on time and secured at the end of each day
  • Maintain regular communication with immediate manager.
  • Participate in staff meetings as required.
  • Comply with the HOM established standards, policies, and rules of conduct for all employees and volunteers.
  • Manage vendor operations as assigned
  • Cover thrift store register and other assigned duties
  • Welcome, instruct and oversee service groups
  • Other duties as assigned.

Donation Center Coordinator 2023

FACILITIES COORDINATOR

Work Hours: Part-time

The Facilities Coordinator will play a vital role in contributing to the total effectiveness of the Mission, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member. Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are crucial characteristics of the individual who holds this position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the cleanliness of all areas at House of Mercy including but not limited to:

o Floors (Vacuuming/mopping)
o Windows & Walls (dusting/cleaning)
o Store & Food Pantry Shelves (Dusting)
o Trash disposal
o Maintaining a clean parking lot & grounds
o Bathrooms & kitchens

  • Maintenance: Notice any items in need of repair and report to supervisor before repairing
  • Safety: Recognize any safety issues and take care of them or report to supervisor as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
