We primarily accept requests for assistance by phone (703-778-6800) from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and from 1:30 pm. to 3:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday. Telephone intake is not available on Friday

To determine whether we can help you, we must screen you for eligibility. During this brief conversation, a member of our Intake team will gather demographic information, including household size, income and asset information, will conduct a required check for conflicts of interest, and get a brief description of your problem.
