Apr 6, 2020 | News

In Round 2 of the COVID-19 Response Fund for Northern Virginia by the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, it was announced that House of Mercy has been awarded $10,000 towards continuing operations of our Food Pantry during the COVID_19 crisis.

“Mindful that the coronavirus will have a disproportionate impact on people with the least ability to meet it, the Community Foundation directed Round 2 funding to local organizations meeting basic needs and offering emergency financial assistance to our most vulnerable neighbors. A total of $360,000 has been awarded to the following 28 organizations who continue to man the front lines of the crisis.”

Thank you to the Community Foundation for this assistance in supporting the House of Mercy in our continued efforts to serve the community with food assistance during these uncertain times. Our food pantry remains open to serve all those need Monday-Friday 10am-4pm.
