Every autumn on a Saturday early in October, House of Mercy collaborates with local church, business, civic, and family groups in a fun, one day, high energy food-packing event. The food is usually rice and also pinto beans, to provide nutrients and a versatile base for many meals.
The Campaign to End Hunger is the major fund raising activity each year for the House of Mercy. The fee to partner with us in a two hour work shift is only $20, and covers the cost of food ingredients, supplies, and shipping, as well as providing essential support to House of Mercy client aid and education programs.
House of Mercy is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. (EIN: 20-4572642).
