Navy Federal Credit Union Volunteers Lend a Hand at House of Mercy During HomeAid “Care Day”

MANASSAS, VA – May 12, 2025 – HomeAid National Capital Region recently hosted another successful “Care Day,” bringing dedicated volunteers to support a local nonprofit partner. This time, the generous team from Navy Federal Credit Union stepped up to make a significant impact at the House of Mercy, assisting across their vital Food Pantry, Thrift Store, and Donation Center operations.

Care Days are a cornerstone of HomeAid’s community engagement efforts, providing hands-on volunteer service that directly benefits local nonprofit organizations. Tasks ranging from landscaping and organizing to cleaning are performed at no cost to the nonprofits, allowing them to redirect crucial financial resources to their core missions.
