Making a Difference with Every Meal

In February 2025, House of Mercy’s food pantry served a total of 1,230 households, distributing 50,494 pounds of food to 4,962 individuals. With 16,181 pounds of food purchased and 34,313 pounds donated, the pantry continued to meet the growing needs of the community. Fresh food was a top priority, with 24,626 pounds of produce reaching families in need.

Wide Reach, Growing Need

The pantry served 49 zip codes across 36 cities, helping families of all sizes. The average household size of clients was 4.03, with 2,005 children benefiting from the food and resources provided. Additionally, 62 walk-in families and 224 individuals received assistance without prior accounts, demonstrating the ongoing demand for support.

Supporting Families Beyond Food

Beyond food assistance, we provided 17,850 diapers, 9 cakes through Cake4Kids, and $275 in gift cards for households in need. Our Foundations of Mercy program also supported 3 families transitioning from difficult circumstances, such as survivors of fires or those moving from homelessness, offering them crucial transitional support.
